Music & Dance entertain spectators at Palace

Mysuru: Music and Dance featured prominently on the second day of Dasara Cultural Programme at Mysore Palace premises here last evening entertaining the gathering. Danseuse Vidu. V. Shobhana performed classical ballets on Kali, Mayuri and Mahishasura Mardhini with perfect rhythm and synchronisation by troupe members.

Earlier, Sitar-Sarangi jubalbandi was presented by Ustad Fayaz Khan, Ankush Nayak and Rafiq Khan with Rajendra Nakod and Gurumurthy Vaidya providing support on accompaniments.

Ustad Rafique Khan (Sitar), Ustad Faiyaz Khan (Sarangi) and Pandit Ankush Nayak (Sitar) are seen presenting instrumental music concert at Mysore Palace premises last evening as part of Dasara Cultural Programmes.

Later M. Venkatesh Kumar rendered Hindustani music with support from Veerabhadraiah Hiremath, Ravindra Yavagal, Ramesh and Sunitha.
