Muslim brethren to celebrate Shab-e-Barath tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Muslim brethren will be celebrating Shab-e-Barath (Night of Forgiveness) in city tomorrow (Mar. 18) evening and special prayers have been organised at various mosques during which the near and dear ones will pray for the departed souls the whole night. After Prayer Ulmas will deliver lecture on Fazilath Shab-e-Bharath. Floral tributes will be offered to the departed souls by visiting the burial grounds during midnight.

On this occasion, Namaz Isha prayers have been arranged by the various Management Committees and the Masjid Namaz Isha timings are as follows:

9 pm: Masjid-e-Khadir, Darga Hazarath Gumnam Sha Wali in Bannimantap Industrial Area; Jamia Masjid at Jockey Quarters; Masjid Ala Hazarath at Rajivnagar; Masjid-e-Syed Ahmed at S.A. Layout in Rajivnagar and other Mosques.

9.15 pm: Masjid Hali Meamoon Jamath at Shivarampet and other Mosques.

9.30 pm: Masjid-e-Nazarbad, Masjid-e-Khairulwara at Rajivnagar 2nd Stage; Quba Masjid-Udayagiri, Ya Allah Masjid at Mohammed Sait Block in Lashkar Mohalla and other Mosques.

10 pm: Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road; Mecca Masjid, in Rajivnagar 2nd Stage; Jamiya Masjid on Irwin Road; Masjid Feel Khana at Khille Mohalla; Masjid-ya-Rub at Kalyanagiri 4th Stage; Masjid-e-Eidgah on Mission Hospital Road; Masjid Khatoon-e-Janath at Kesare; Masjid Zeenath-ul-Masajid (Nawab Saheb) on 100 Ft. Road; Masjid Tippu Sultan at Tipu Town on Mahadevapura Road; Masjid Rehamaniya, near Silk Factory in Mysuru South; Masjid-e-Mir Hayath on K.T. Street; Masjid-e-Shoudal-wo-Badar (Ek-Minarate) on Azeez Sait Road in Shanthinagar; Masjid-e-Moula Hussain at Sathyanagar; Masjid-e-Ya Mustafa at Udayagiri; Masjid-e-Shaik Abdul Khader Jeelani at Srinagar; Masjid-e-Munawara at R.S. Naidu Nagar; Masjid-e-Jyothi Nagar and other Mosques.

10.15 pm: Darga-e-Masjid on Sawday Road.

10.30 pm: Masjid-e-Bismillah at Bharath Nagar; Masjid Aqsa near Fountain Circle; Masjid-e-Hazarath Khwaja Gareebun Nawaz at Nehru Nagar; Masjid-e-Mushayikeen, Char Chowki at Empire Layout in Rajivnagar; Shahi Masjid on Eerakatte Street in Lashkar Mohalla and other mosques.

President of the Management Committee of Masjid Hali Meamoon Jamath at Shivarampet Mansoor Sait Kushali, has stated that on Shab-e-Bharath, iftar has been arranged for fasting person on Mar. 18 and 19 at 6.30 pm in Masjid premises and Salath-o-Tasbi prayer will be held on Mar. 18 followed after Namaz Maqrib prayer at Masjid Hali Meamoon Jamath at Shivarampet and Masjid-e-Khair-ul-Wara in Rajivnagar.

Devotees are urged to wear face mask, maintain social distance and follow all COVID guidelines.
