Srirangapatna: A mysterious sound followed by tremors has shocked people of the taluk yesterday. At about 3.20 pm, a loud sound was heard and tremors were felt at Mahadevapura, ISKCON, Srirangapatna, Palahalli, Mogarahalli & Manti. As soon as the loud sound was heard, people rushed out of their buildings in fear. Such sounds were heard earlier too in KRS area.

When Tahsildar Shweta was contacted, she said that the sound had caused a sense of fear among the people, but nothing has been reported at the Mines and Geology Department. But still, information in this regard will be collected, she added.
