Mysore/Mysuru: Mystery shrouds over the death of an elderly woman, who was found dead on the second floor of her house in Hebbal on Sunday.

The deceased woman is Nanjamma (75), who was staying alone on the second floor of the house.

According to the complaint from Nanjamma’s granddaughter Padma, Nanjamma was found dead in sleeping position and there were blood stains at the spot and her forehead had turned bluish, which has given rise to suspicion over her death.

Hebbal Inspector K.R. Prasad, who has registered a case of suspicious death, shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary, where post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members.
