Mysurean wins Literary Global Book Award for Art

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganesh K. Shenoy, author and artist, has won the 2025 Literary Global Book Award in the Non-fiction – Art category for his book ‘Kinetic Pointillism: An Emerging Art Movement.’

The book previously earned recognition in the Golden Book of World Records in 2023 under the “First” category. It explores kinetic pointillism, an evolving art movement founded by legendary artist Robert Ottesen, which has grown in popularity across age groups. It is available for free download from online bookstores.

Hailing from Mysuru, Shenoy has been working and residing in Qatar since 2007. His wife, Arti Shenoy, is from Mysuru and his daughter Dr. Anisha Shenoy works at JSS Medical College, Mysuru. An award-winning author, his notable works include ‘Seginus: The Eternal Time Traveller’ and ‘Shadows of Desire & 152 Drabbles.’

He integrates theosophy and mysticism into his creative work and currently serves as HR Head at Teyseer Services Company in Qatar.
