Mysuru district sees 200 new COVID positive cases, reports five deaths on July 29

Mandya reports 70 fresh cases, Kodagu reports eight and Chamarajanagar sees 20 new cases

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru district reported 200 new COVID positive cases yesterday bringing the total number of positive cases to 3,583, according to the media bulletin received last evening.

As many as 1,145 patients have been discharged so far including 134 patients yesterday and there are 2,310 active cases in the district. Five COVID related deaths were reported yesterday and the total deaths so far are 128.

The following are the COVID statistics of Mandya, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar, according to the State media bulletin yesterday evening.

Mandya

The district saw 70 fresh cases and the total positive cases have reached 1,413.  A total of 864 patients have been discharged so far and the total active cases in the district are 539. The district has reported 10 COVID related deaths so far.

Kodagu

Seventy new COVID positive cases were reported from the district yesterday bringing the total number of positives to 362. 

With no fresh discharges, the total number of patients discharged so far is 266 and there are 90 active cases in the district. A total of six COVID deaths have been reported so far.

Chamarajanagar

The district reported 20 new COVID positive cases yesterday bringing the total positive cases to 593. 

Fifteen patients were discharged yesterday and the total patients discharged so far are 334. There are 253 active cases in the district and the COVID related death toll so far is six.
