Mysuru: The NIE Yoga Centre was inaugurated recently at NIE Diamond Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex in city.

Srinath Batni, Hon.President, NIE, G.S. Ramachandra, Hon.Secretary, Dr. G.Ravi, Principal, A.M.Puttaswamaiah, Trustee, Pathanjali Yoga Foundation (PYF), Kalaji, City Convener, Sri Pathanjali Yoga Shikshana Samithi (SPYSS), N.S. Sathyanarayana, Visthara Pramukh and Trustee PYF were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinath Batni said that the Indian mentality has been corrupt these days due to lack of training on best practices of cultural, philosophical and moral education. NGOs like SPYSS and PYF are doing great service to society in this direction by imparting important values to                        youngsters.

Classes everyday will cover Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation and human values.  Those interested can get the membership free of cost. Classes will be held everyday from 6 am to 7 am.
