Alleges social activist T.J. Abraham

Mandya: In yet another fresh trouble for Mandya LS candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy after nomination paper row, social activist T.J. Abraham alleged that Nikhil has given false information in the election affidavit submitted to the Returning Officer of Mandya.

Speaking to reporters in Mandya yesterday, he accused that Nikhil had mentioned that he had borrowed Rs.50 lakh loan from Myrid Marketing Pvt. Ltd., but such a company does not exist. He has also given false information of receiving Rs.11 crore advance from Fiza Developers and Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., but the overall investment of this company is around Rs.10 crore and the company’s cash transaction is just Rs.8.5 crore, Abraham said by showing records to defend his allegations at the press conference.

He also charged Nikhil of not filing IT returns after 2017 and urged  the Government to probe his allegations.

NICE case: Abraham also complained that former PM H.D. Deve Gowda’s family had cheated the farmers in the acquisition of land and development of township by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE). They have given the permission for development of the township in the land which was not approved by Finance Department. Over 4,000 acres of agriculture land acquired by farmers in Srirangapatna taluk has been given for development of township. Shockingly, all the NICE works are stopped now. He alleged that both Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar have planned to loot this land.

The Congress and JD(S) leaders, who have been blaming NICE Owner Ashok Kheny for misuse of the land given for development of township, has filed affidavit to Supreme Court in favour of him.
