No decision yet on reopening of classes 1 to 5: Minister

Bengaluru: Asserting that the Government has not yet taken a decision on re-opening Schools for physical classes for  1st to 5th standards, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education B.C. Nagesh said that however, a decision will be taken after a meeting  to be held with COVID Technical Committee, to be presided over by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking to presspersons here on Sunday, Nagesh said that the meeting will take place any day after the conclusion of the ongoing Assembly session, which is scheduled to end on Sept. 24.

Maintaining that the Education Department and teachers are fully prepared with all necessary measures, he said that even parents too are eager to send their children to schools.
