Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist, CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR-CFTRI), Mysuru, has been nominated as a member of the High-powered Steering Committee of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF&CC), Government of India and setting up a platform as National Institute for Research and Application of National Resources to Transform, Adapt and Build Resilience (NIRANTAR).

The Committee, to be chaired by the Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has a tenure for two years.
