‘Open Day’ at CFTRI for public, students on July 6, 7

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the ongoing week-long ‘One Week One Lab’ (OWOL) campaign at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) in Mysuru, the premier food research institute will be open to the public and students through ‘Open Days’ on July 6 and July 7 from 10 am to 4 pm. The entry will be through North Gate (Near Akashvani, Vivekananda Statue, KRS Road)

This event is being organised under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Science & Technology. The main focus of the event will be on celebrating food research as part of the OWOL Programme. The slogan of the CFTRI’s campaign is ‘Celebrating Food Research.’

The institute is welcoming the general public, students and entrepreneurs to gain insight into the ongoing research and technology development in the fields of Food Science and Technology and Food Processing. It is showcasing the Institute’s cutting-edge research, expertise and facilities.

The event will feature product displays, food machinery demonstrations and a food expo showcasing the stalls of CFTRI licensees who have adopted CFTRI technologies.

The Food Expo will provide information about CFTRI’s innovative technologies and their relevance to entrepreneurship. It’s a valuable opportunity for the public and entrepreneurs to gain a glimpse into CFTRI’s work and interact with our scientific staff to learn more about our scientific and research activities.
