Operation Decoy: 26 autorickshaw drivers booked for demanding excess fare

Mysuru: Following complaints against autorickshaw drivers demanding excess fares from passengers and not coming to the passengers’ destinations, Devaraja Traffic Police, who conducted ‘Operation Decoy,’ a drive against erring auto drivers on Sunday, have booked 26 drivers and have imposed fines on them.

The Traffic Police have also recommended the RTO to suspend their Driving Licenses.

Devaraja Traffic Inspector Srinivas and staff took part in the operation.
