Padayatra to Bengaluru on July 29

July 27, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: State Backward Classes Jagruta Vedike President K.S. Shivaram has announced that the Vedike activists will take out a padayatra to Bengaluru on July 29 and lay siege to BJP Office there to protest against the baseless accusations being levelled against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah  by the State BJP leaders.

Addressing the media at Patrakarthara Bhavan in the city yesterday, he said “There is no relation between the alleged MUDA site scam under 50:50 site allotment scheme and the sites given to CM’s wife Parvathi. Still, by linking the MUDA site allotment scam to the sites given to CM’s wife and spreading baseless allegations, the BJP leaders are conspiring to unseat the CM. To protest this, we are taking out a padayatra to Bengaluru on July 29 and lay to siege to BJP Office.”

Several progressive organisations and Congress party supporters will take in padayatra. Leaders H.S. Prakash, Ravinandan, Yogesh Uppar, Shivashankara Murthy and others were present.
