Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Health Officer has issued a ban order on sale of meat on Aug. 27 (Wednesday) on account of Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Hence, all the meat shops and slaughter houses have been ordered to down the shutters on the said date, according to a press release.
