Manjunath (45), an ex-serviceman and a resident of Hedatale village in the taluk, passed away following brief illness at K.R. Hospital in Mysuru last night. He leaves behind his wife, two children and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Hedatale village this afternoon.

Biddanda B. Raghupathy (81), son of late Bopaiah and a resident of No. 301, Lakshmi Apartment in Lakshmipuram here, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
