M.R. Ramakrishna (91), a retired Railways employee and a native of Magge village in H.D. Kote taluk, passed away at his residence in Paramount Gardens, Talaghattapura in Bengaluru, yesterday. He leaves behind a son, two daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. Last rites were performed at Banashankari Crematorium today.

R. Surendra (68), a native of Pandavapura, who was residing at his son’s residence in Mysuru, passed away at a private hospital in city on Friday following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, two sons including journalist S. Raju and a daughter. Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds in city.

Rangaswamy (74), retired Police official and a resident of Sharadanagar in Bogadi Railway Layout, passed away yesterday in city. A native of Chamarajanagar, he leaves behind his wife and three sons. Last rites were performed at Chamarajanagar this morning.

M.B. Nagendra Simha (67), son of M.V. Bhojayya, Proprietor of Bhojayya and Sons, passed away yesterday at his residence in Jayalakshmipuram in city. He leaves behind his wife Tejovathi, sons Bharat Simha and Amruth Simha and daughter-in-law Prathima. Last rites were performed at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds in Bannimantap today.

Gaffar Ali Baig (72), retired Chief Security and Vigilance Officer at KSRTC, passed away in the wee hours of today. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and a son. Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Zohar at Masij-e-Azam on Ashoka Road, followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
