Pall of gloom at Siddharamaiah’s native

May 14, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: Amidst the resounding victory of their home grown son former CM Siddharamaiah from Varuna Assembly segment, a pall of gloom engulfed the former CM’s native village Siddharamanahundi on Saturday as one of the close relatives of the former CM passed away yesterday morning, even as the counting of votes had begun.

Siddu’s brother-in-law Ramegowda (husband of Siddharamaiah’s sister Shivamma) was admitted to JSS Hospital in Mysuru after he complained of uneasiness. But he passed away at around 8.30 am, after failing to respond to the treatment.

The deceased Ramegowda was aged 69 years and leaves behind his wife Shivamma, three daughters and a son. He ran a Fair Price Shop (FPS) at the village.
