K.S. Ravikumar has been awarded Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU),  Belagavi for his thesis ‘Studies on Processing, Characterization and Tribological Behaviour of AL6061 Matrix Nanocomposites’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. S Ghanaraja and Dr. M.R. Ramesh.
