Darshan has been awarded Ph.D. in Mass Communication by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore for his thesis ‘Networked Linkages Among Elected Women Representatives in Panchayati Raj Institutions in Karnataka: Exploring Social Media-Enhanced Participation and Representation’ submitted under the guidance of   Dr. Kalyani Suresh.
