The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Music to S.R. Nagaraj for his thesis ‘Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Ramavarma mattu Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar ravara Devi mattu Shivapara Kruthigala Sangetha-Sahitya-Tulanatmaka Adyayana’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. R.N. Sreelatha.

Visvesvaraya Technological University has awarded Ph.D in Computer and Information Science to K.N. Ranjit for her thesis ‘An Approach Towards Grading and Classification of Fruit Diseases’ [Guide: Dr. C. Naveena]. Ranjit is presently serving as Trustee, Maharaja Education Trust, Mysuru and working as Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Maharaja Institute of Technology, Thandavapura.
