Mysuru – The University of Mysore has awarded Ph.D in Biotechnology to B.C. Kavitha for her thesis ‘Mode of Action of Gastroprotective Components from Potato (Solanum Tuberosum) and Ginger (Zingiber Officinale); Effect of Various Cooking Processes’ [Guide: Dr. Shylaja M. Dharmesh].

L.S. Mamatha Bhanu has been awarded Ph.D in Biotechnology by the UoM for her thesis ‘Glycoproteomic Analysis of Glycoconjugates from Buffalo (Bubalus Bubalis) Colostrum” [Guide: Dr. H.S. Aparna].

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, has awarded Ph.D in Community Health Nursing under Nursing Faculty to K.P. Dakshayini for her thesis ‘A Study to Determine the Opinion of Female Health Workers About Their Expected and Performed Role in Delivering Nursing Care Services and Client’s Satisfaction with the Nursing Care Services received in a Community of Selected Districts of Karnataka’ [Guide: Dr. B.T. Basavanthappa].
