Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Chemistry to G. Chaya for her thesis ‘Studies on Removal of Toxic Dyes and Heavy Metals from Contaminated Water using low cost Biosorbents’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Bibi Ahmadi Khatoon.

K. Leelavathi has been awarded Ph.D in Philosophy by the UoM for her thesis ‘A Critical analysis of Religion (Dharma) and Values in Shivasharana Vachanas’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. S. Venkatesh.

Sameeulla Khan has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the UoM for his thesis ‘Economic Reforms and Performance of Selected Organised Manufacturing Labour Intensive and Capital Intensive Industries in India – A Comparative Study’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Navitha Thimmaiah.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, has awarded Ph.D in Civil Engineering Sciences to D.B. Nirmala for her thesis ‘An Investigation on Self Compacting Concrete with Foundry Sand’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. S. Raviraj.
