Plea to asphalt roads in Manjunathapura

December 27, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: As almost all roads in Manjunathapura (Ward No. 18) are in bad shape, the residents of the locality have urged the authorities concerned to take up road development works and asphalt the roads at the earliest.

Residents said that most of the roads in the locality have been completely damaged with small jelly stones scattered on the so called roads making it very difficult for vehicles, especially two-wheelers to ply on the road. They alleged that the roads were dug up for constructions of ducts two years ago and have not been repaired since then and added that dust enters houses whenever a vehicle pass by causing health hazard to residents, especially senior citizens and children. As hundreds of vehicles ply on this road from KRS Main Road via Ideal Jawa Factory Road towards Bannimantap, the residents have urged the authorities concerned to at least asphalt this main road at the earliest.
