Through this column, I would like to appeal to the authorities concerned to deploy traffic Police personnel at Vijaya Bank Circle in Kuvempunagar, particularly near Judges Quarters, during peak hours (8 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 9 pm) daily.

This request has become necessary due to the ongoing junction reconstruction work, which is expected to continue for an extended period.

Currently, the absence of proper traffic regulation is leading to chaotic vehicle movement, with disciplined drivers facing undue harassment from reckless motorists.

I sincerely hope the deployed officers will actively manage the traffic flow rather than remain passive observers. Their visible presence and proactive intervention would ensure smoother movement for all commuters during these challenging temporary conditions.
