Prathap Simha dares Mahisha Dasara organisers

September 29, 2024

Mysuru: Former Mysuru-Kodagu MP Prathap Simha had dared the organisers of Mahisha Dasara Committee to celebrate Mahisha Dasara atop Chamundi Hill in the city.

In a post on his ‘X’ account yesterday, Simha had stated “Let’s see how the floral tributes will be offered to the statue of Mahishasura at the hill,” in a reply to the President of Mahisha Dasara Committee R. Purushotham, the former Mayor, who had made an announcement on these lines. Simha posted his one line reply, by tagging the report related to Mahisha Dasara published in the media.

The controversy surrounding Mahisha Dasara celebrations resurfaces every year during Mysuru Dasara.
