Prathiba excels in swimming

Mysuru: Pratibha Goutham of Mysuru, taking part in the State-level Non-Medallist Swimming Competition-2025 organised by Mangala Swimming Club at City Corporation Swimming Pool in Mangaluru recently, won two medals including gold in Masters 50mts backstroke and silver in 50mts freestyle.

A home-maker and mother of two, Pratibha began her swimming journey only in 2024.

She is aiming to take part in the 26th State Masters’ Swimming Championship to be organised by Karnataka Swimming Association (KSA) later this month in Bengaluru.

She currently trains at the MASP Aquatic Club, Mysuru, under the guidance of senior coach Albert Sebastian and Assistant Coaches Manoj & Sai Samarth.
