Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Master of Business Administration (MBA) of GSSSIETW, Mysuru, had organised a online National-level Project Symposium ‘Prashashan’ on Aug. 4 and 5. The objective of the Symposium was to bring together students across India and provide them a common platform to present their IV semester projects. Around 120 students had registered for the Symposium. A panel of experts scrutinised the projects and selected the best projects for presentation. Separate online platforms were created for Finance, HR and Marketing projects.
Annu Aslia of Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, won the first prize in project presentation and Jeena Joseph of Marthoma College of Management and Technology, Perumbavoor, Kerala, got the second prize. Winners were awarded cash prizes. E Certificates were given to all the participants.
During inaugural, Dr. D.R. Rajashekhara Swamy, Professor & Head, Department of MBA, delivered welcome speech. Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, pointed out the importance of Project Symposium and how it is useful for the process of knowledge sharing. Dr. Aparna J. Varma, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, gave a brief introduction about the Project Symposium and Dr. V.K. Jayan, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, proposed a vote of thanks.
Dr. Aparna J. Varma, Dr. Jayan and Pavithra Gowtham, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW, were the internal judges. D.N. Chandan, Assistant Accounts Officer, KPTCL, Bengaluru, R.H. Ashwini, HR Manager, SECAB Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vijayapura, being the alumni of GSSSIETW, were the external judges for this symposium.
