Prize-winning cultural troupes in Jumboo Savari

Mysuru:  The names of the prize-winning cultural troupes which took part in the Jumboo Savari on Oct.19 in city has been announced.

The first prize of Rs.15,000 is won by M.N. Anand-led Shalivahana Garudigombe and Keelukudure Kala Sangha of  Manchandahalli in Kolar district for presenting Garudigombe, Chilipiligombe and Keelukudure.

The second prize of Rs.10,000 is bagged by Ramakrishna Panduranga Sugandhi-led Mayi Kalasangha of Hanagal in Haveri district for presentation of  Bedara Nrutya. The third prize of Rs.5,000 went to Soudhamini troupe of Nanachigaddehaadi in Kodagu district, according to a press release from the office of the City Police Commissioner.
