Prof. B.S. Vijayalakshmi (78), retired HoD of Zoology at Yuvaraja’s College and a resident of Jayanagar here, passed away at a private hospital in city recently.

She leaves behind her husband senior Advocate H.V. Srinath, son Advocate S. Harsha, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
