Provisional list of Lalithadripura site allottees gets approval

Mysuru: The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has approved the provisional list of site allottees of Lalithadripura North Layout (2nd phase) in city.

This list got the approval at the MUDA meeting held at MUDA office hall on JLB Road here yesterday. MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar presided over the meeting. The list, has the names of allottees of 580 sites of various dimensions. The MUDA has invited objections, if any, to the list within 15 days.

The meeting also decided to call for applications from eligible Associations, Organisations and Trusts for distribution of 85 CA (Civic Amenities) sites available in various localities of the city, for which the price is fixed at Rs. 2,100 per square metre. The site will be allotted on a 30-year lease-cum-sale deed as per norms. The other decisions taken included allotment of 19 acres and 20 guntas of land to the KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association) for construction                                                             of an international cricket stadium at Hanchya-Sathagalli ‘B’ layout for which the KSCA has to pay a minimum of Rs.16.5 crore, as the land value has risen over the years.

Also, it was decided to launch low-cost group housing scheme at available MUDA land in all localities. The housing scheme, which involve construction of eight-storeyed structures, is aimed at providing houses at an affordable cost to working classes, Safai Karmacharis and other economically weaker sections of the society. The MUDA engineer has been asked to come up with a blueprint and DPR for the implementation of the scheme.
