Mysuru: The 35th week of the ‘Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana’ campaign undertaken by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, to enhance civic awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection was held in J. P. Nagar yesterday covering C, D, E and F Blocks, Revenue Colony, J.P. Nagar 2nd Stage and Siddalingeshwara Layout. Swami Mokshatmanandaji of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, former MLC D. Madegowda, H.V. Rajeev of H.V. Rajeev Sneha Balaga, area Corporator B.L. Bhyrappa and Prof. K.S. Nagapathi inaugurated the campaign.
Residents were requested to desist from throwing waste in public places; Avoid using plastic bags, and to take care of hygiene in surrounding places.
Ashrama volunteers, Balaga members, students from TTL College, JSS Law College, Vijaya Chethana College, and local residents participated.
