Rathasaptami: Mass Surya Namaskara and Surya Yajna tomorrow

As part of Rathasaptami, the Mysuru Yoga Okkuta will perform a mass 108 Surya Namaskara and Surya Yajna in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Palace North Gate at 5.45 am tomorrow (Feb. 4).

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Okkuta President K.G. Devaraju said that Palace Board Deputy Director T.S. Subramanya will inaugurate the event, while Okkuta Hon. President Dr. A.S. Chandrashekar will preside and senior Journalist Amshi Prasannakumar will be the chief guest.

Pointing out that more than 500 Yoga enthusiasts from across the city will be taking part in the event, he said that all the participants will be issued a certificate and will be given a T-shirt. He appealed the Yoga enthusiasts to take part in large numbers.

Okkuta office-bearers T. Jalendrakumar, Dr. B.P. Murthy, Shivaprakash and Narasimha were present at the press meet.
