Rider killed as truck rams into bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot, when a truck rammed into the bike he was riding near Prakruthi Layout on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road on May 12 night.

The deceased is Chethan, a resident of Chikkahalli in the taluk. Chethan was proceeding on his bike (KA-55-EA-5245) from Chikkahalli towards Alanahalli, when a speeding truck (KA-01-AJ-9816) rammed into the bike from behind resulting in the bike rider sustaining serious head injuries and breathing his last on the spot.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
