Sir,
Is it a mere coincidence that the roads are almost always damaged near the traffic signal lights? There are either potholes or road cuts there. Sometimes it is a hump.
These are the places where every second counts. But the vehicles will have to go slow because of the damage on the road.
Result: Lesser number of vehicles manage to make it to the other side before the lights turn red.
Right now, there is a big fracture on the road near the signal light, next to the petrol bunk near the Railway Station. It is a very busy place at all time.
I request the authorities to repair it at the earliest and ensure smooth flow of vehicles. Otherwise, I am sure there will be unnecessary accidents — what with many vehicles trying to reach the Railway Station in time.
They should also, in future, make it a policy to avoid placing humps near the signal lights and always keep such spots free of potholes or any other damages.
