‘Save Constitution’ seminar tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Constitution Day (Nov. 26), various organisations of the city will jointly host a seminar “Bharatada Prajegala Hone: Samvidhana Rakshane” tomorrow,  said former Director of Rangayana H. Janardhan (Jenni).

Addressing press persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavana on Thursday, he said that the event  will be held at Kalamandira’s Kiru Rangamandira at 4.30 pm.

Dramatist Dr. Rajappa Dalvoy will speak on the subject. Journalists T. Gururaj and Jagadish Koppa, MESCO Principal Mohammed Kaleem, Poet Azeez will present their views.  Senior journalist B.M. Haneef will preside.

A poster exhibition depicting the significance of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s life history has been organised on the occasion by Mysuru Federation of Muslims. At 6.30 pm, a play by Devanur Mahadev  ‘Sambanja Annodu Doddadu Kana’  will be enacted by Mysuru’s Janamana troupe.
