Mysore/Mysuru: Someshwarapura (Sollepura), which is 12 kms from Mysuru city, was completely sealed down nearly 28 days ago along with Hebya village, where Corona positive cases were reported. Today, the sealdown was relaxed at the village and people, who were confined to their homes, were seen happily moving around.

State General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) B.Y. Vijayendra had sent grocery kits to be distributed among 2,000 families of the village which was distributed by State BJP Secretary M. Rajendra this morning.

Each kit contained groceries, including 5 kg rice, dal, sugar, salt, washing and bathing soaps, sufficient for 10 days.

Varuna Constituency President Vijay Kumar, MyMUL Director Ashok, Taluk Panchayat Member Shekar, L.R. Mahadevaswamy of Vijayendra Abhimani Balaga and others were present on the occasion.
