Mysuru: Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), a premier institute that was established in December 1961 to cater to the strategic operational requirements of our services and to provide logistical support to the Armed Forces in the area of food supplies, will conduct a job mela-cum-campus interview at its premises here.
The mela will be held on June 27 on the occasion of Silver Jubilee year of various courses offered by DFRL.
The institution has the core competence in convenience foods, food packaging as well as food analysis and quality control.
DFRL conducts post-graduate diploma course in Food Analysis and Quality Assurance under the aegis of University of Mysore. This course comprises Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Packaging and Food Laws where students are given hands-on training as food analysts and food microbiologists.
