Selected for ‘Kanakagourava’

City based writer Dr. Kabbinale Vasanth Baharadwaj has bagged the coveted ‘Kanakagourava’ award for his work titled ‘Kanakatarangini.’ The award, instituted by National Saint Poet Kanakadasa Study and Research Centre, Bengaluru, carries a cash prize of Rs. 75,000 and a citation. Dr. Kabbinale Vasanth Baharadwaj is credited with over a hundred works on Kanakadasa. Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will confer the award at the Kanaka Jayanti celebration to be held in Bengaluru on Nov.6.
