Hoysala Kannada Sangha and Savigannada Pathrika Balaga in association with Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat will be conferring ‘Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award’ on Dr. S.A. Mohan Krishna, Assistant Professor, Vidyavardhaka Engineering College, Mysuru, at a programme to be held at Institution of Engineers, JLB Road, at 4.30 pm on Nov.17. Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji will grace the occasion. Dr. V. Prakash, former CFTRI Director, will inaugurate and present the award. Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna will be the chief guest. Noted Sugama Sangeetha exponent H.R. Leelavathi will be inaugurating ‘Barisu Kannada Dindimava’ Kannada Rajyotsava Kavigoshti on the occasion, according to a press release.
