February 4, 2026

Muslim brethren observed Shab-e-Barath (Night of Forgiveness) in city yesterday night and prayed for their welfare and for the departed souls of their near and dear ones. Special prayers were organised the whole night in which thousands offered Isha prayers at various Mosques across the city, including Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road and Masjid-e-Ya Allah, opposite Government Guest House, which were decorated. Special lectures were delivered by religious heads on the occasion. Later, Muslim brethren visited the burial grounds in the midnight and offered floral tributes to the departed souls.
