Shift FlyBus Terminal to Sathagalli or Naidunagar

March 24, 2025

Sir,

I read in this column about a suggestion to shift the existing FlyBus Terminal at the Sub-Urban Bus Stand to the vacant area opposite a nearby jewellery shop (Star of Mysore dated Mar. 18).

However, I believe it would be more strategic, futuristic, and user-friendly to relocate the FlyBus Terminal to either the Sathagalli Bus Stand or the Naidunagar Bus Stand, where there is ample unused space.

These locations would also be more convenient, considering the upcoming new bus stand near Bannimantap Bus Depot. Additionally, both bus stands are close to the Outer Ring Road, which connects directly to the Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway.

Relocating the FlyBus Terminal to either of these locations is unlikely to inconvenience most users, as FlyBus passengers typically arrive using their own vehicles or hired cabs.
