To contest in ZP, TP and GP polls
Mysore/Mysuru: Shiv Sena has launched its Mysuru District Unit and announced that it would contest the upcoming Zilla Panchayat (ZP), Taluk Panchayat (TP) and Gram Panchayat (GP) polls.
Addressing a press meet in city recently, Shiv Sena State General Secretary Gangadhar Kulkarni said that the party’s expansion in the State comes with a twin agenda ‘Hindutva and Development,’ besides stating that with the launch of Mysuru Unit, the party has completed its organisational work in 13 districts of Karnataka.
Criticising the Congress-led State Government of being insensitive to Hindu concerns, Kulkarni alleged that the State Government is anti-Hindu and does not respect Hindu sentiments. Shiv Sena will emerge as a strong voice for the Hindu community, he added.
On infiltrators from Bangladesh
Pointing out that infiltrators from Bangladesh have increased in the country, Kulkarni said that there were more than one lakh Bangladesh infiltrators in Bengaluru, who have been given jobs at prominent hotels.
These infiltrators are involved in selling narcotic substances and the State Government should deport them, he added.
Shiv Sena State Spokesperson S. Bhaskaran, State Organising Secretary Amarnath, State Secretary M.S. Harish, District General Secretary Pramod, Organising Secretary Chandrashekar, Women’s Unit President Meera and others were present at the press meet.
