Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC), under the joint aegis of Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood and Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane (CMKKY), has invited applications from eligible students for admission to short-term training courses. Admission is open for poor and unemployed candidates who have passed SSLC, PUC, Diploma and BE (Mechanical). Free training will be provided for trades such as Turner, Miller, Grinder, Fitter, Mechanical Assembly, CNC-Turning, Milling, Grinding, CNC Programmer and Designer Mechanical — CATIA, UG, Pro-E, MCAM, CAD and solid works and Post-Diploma in Tool Design and Tool Room Machinist, IOT, PDV, CAD-CAM, Mechatronics, RPT, Robotics and Renewable Energy courses.
Interested candidates can apply online by logging on to https://www.kaushalkar.com and also submit copies of study certificate, caste and income certificates, Aadhaar card, passport size photo and other education related documents. The age limit for General Category candidates is 16 to 35 years and for SC/ST candidates 16 to 45 years.
