Siddalingappa (74), senior Congress leader, former President of Taluk Ashraya Samithi and a resident of Debur village in the taluk, passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the village this afternoon, according to family sources.
