SJCE alumni network to mentor students

Mysuru: Around 50 alumni (old students) of SJCE belonging to 1988-1992 batch held its Alumni Meet at the college premises in city recently.

The programme started at 11 am with registration after which the alumni, who had come from various parts of the country and abroad, visited their respective Departments and interacted with their Professors.

Many of them exchanged their good memories of college days. They also visited hostels where they spent most of their time during their student days.

Later, a get-together and networking programme was held at SJCE Golden Jubilee Bhavan.

Dr. T.N. Nagabhushan, Principal of SJCE, addressing the gathering, presented the evolution of SJCE over the last 55 years and stressed the importance of Alumni network. He requested the alumni to actively involve in the curriculum development, industry-institute interaction and mentoring of students.
