Mysuru: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has launched four Skill-based Health Programmes to create trained Health Care Personnel across the country:
1. Certificate in General Duty Assistance (CGDA); 2. Certificate in Geriatric Care Assistance (CGCA); 3. Certificate in Phlebotomy Assistance (CPHA); 4. Certificate in Home Health Assistance (CHHA).
The courses will enhance the skills and abilities of candidates with which they are associated. Seats are limited in each programme (20-30) and for the current session, the Medical College/Hospital in Bengaluru which will be approved by the State Ministry will be the Study Centre for theory and practical activities.
