Slanting tree needs immediate attention

February 27, 2025

Sir,

This is to bring to the notice of MCC authorities concerned about a huge tree slanting to one side (as in the photo) and posing a danger to the residents of Second Cross West of Vishwamanava Double Road.

This tree, which is about 35 years old, has grown up to a huge size of about 40 feet spreading like an umbrella and is slanting to one side with the bark peeling off and posing danger to passersby.

Also, the lives of many residents who frequently visit the park in the vicinity are at risk. If immediate or timely action is not taken to prevent a mishap, similar to the one that was reported in SOM dated Feb. 22, God forbid there may be a fatal mishap.

Our previous requests to the concerned have not been attended to. Hence, I once again request the MCC Commissioner to please attend to this at the earliest.
