Special lecture on Aug. 29 to recall legacy of D. Devaraj Urs

City-based Anveshana Seva Trust is organising a special lecture programme to commemorate the 110th birth anniversary of former Chief Minister of Karnataka late D. Devaraj Urs on Aug.29 from 10.30 am at the auditorium of Institution of Engineers,   JLB Road.

 The speakers will share their opinion about the programmes formulated by the late CM for the welfare of the backward classes of the society.

District Minister and Minister for Social Welfare Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the programme. Former Chairman of Kanteerava Studios, Bengaluru, Vijayalakshmi Urs, will preside.

MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah and President of Anveshana Seva Trust Dr. M.G.R. Urs will speak about the achievements of Devaraj Urs and his contribution to the welfare of the weaker sections.

Ursu Jagruti Academy Charitable Trust Vice-President H.A. Venkatesh and Founder-President of Anveshana Seva Trust Arya Amarnath Raje Urs will participate as chief guests.
