Speed skating: City’s Deeksha selected for World Championships

Deeksha Devangi, a 10th standard student of Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan, Gokulam, has been selected to represent India in the World Speed Skating Championships to be held in Netherlands and also in the Asian Championships to be held at South Korea in the Junior Girls U-19 section.

Deeksha is being coached by Ekalavya Awardee and Indian coach K. Srikanth Rao in Mysuru. She is the daughter of Somashekar and K.R. Roopa.
