Sri Brahmananda Saraswathi Swamiji

Sri Brahmananda Saraswathi Swamiji of Sri Shivananda Ashrama at the foot of Chamundi Hill, passed away yesterday evening at the Ashrama. He was 85.

He was ordained by Hrishikesk-based Sri Shivananda Swamiji and was instrumental in the growth of the ashrama.

Last rites were performed at 12.30 pm today at the ashrama, according to sources.
